ARVYDAS BUINAUSKAS (LT) – INVITATION
In 1323, on January 25th, Duke Gediminas sent one of his famous letters, as if illuminating this little-known western European land to the eyes of Europeans, and permanently placing Vilnius on the map of Europe. This date is now considered the birthday of Vilnius. And when Gediminas Castle is lit, it means one thing – Vilnius is celebrating its birthday and the Vilnius Light Festival is taking place. Crown-forming lighting fixtures on Gediminas castle will allow even the most remote regions of the capital to see when the festival begins.
