The installation “not me” invites the observer to see a person turned “inside-out”. What happens within a person will find its way to the outside, and what we see on the outside will transfer to the inside. With the help of visualizations and sound, we will expose the human brain and thoughts. Here, the body will react in the present time to a revolving and repetitive story, trying over and over again to experience, understand, and liberate it. All the components of the installation – sound, video, and live body movements serve one purpose: to find out what tells us, inside of us, the story of ourselves? Who chooses which memories to keep and which to let go of? Where is “Me” and who is “Me”?
