SCREAMING TUBES

Installation “Screaming Tubes” explores communication in a world, where real conversation is often missing. Screaming and shouting become a way to release stress, while transforming the human voice into colorful, reactive light – captures this emotional moment in a gentle and poetic form. The design or the artwork is inspired by the location and its existing tubes, which naturally invite viewers to step closer, let go, and interact with the installation.

As visitors pass by, they see four large glowing pipes and eight smaller ones nearby, emitting a soft, dim light. A poster reads: “Do not shout.” Most hesitate, but the bravest ones step forward and shout. The installation responds immediately – the louder the voice, the brighter the light. The signal travels from one pipe to another, visually connecting them through the large pipes.

Each shout triggers a different reaction – music, airflow, or other unexpected effects. Through their actions, visitors create light, sound, and movement, thus transforming the space into a living, interactive environment.
