During the “Vilnius Lights Festival”, a one-of-a-kind wormhole (hyper tunnel) will open in the courtyard of the Vilnius Jesuit High School, which will transport the audience to an alternate version of Vilnius. One of the most talented video installation artists, Rimas Sakalauskas, together with his creative team, including theatre director Žilvinas Vingelis and composer Dominykas Digimas, will invite you to delve into the mockumentary genre. It would be hard to deny that in one quantum version of reality, events in Lithuanian history could have taken an unexpected turn. Kazys Pakštas, a geographer from the inter-war period, developed the idea of a “Backup Lithuania” until he came up with an outrageous idea – to move part of the Lithuanian population to the moon, where they must rebuild the lost Lithuanian capital.
