“Amnesia” is an immersive art experience created as a five-stage painting performance. A memory comes to life on a circular canvas, with all of its energy, loss, and what’s left of it. The light, in contact with the material of the canvas, becomes real in color and as if tangible. The colors begins the dance of visual and sound composition that trace the pulse of life and memory. The silence between stages is the most vital part of this performance. During the silence, the viewers’ retina mechanically reacts to the stimulus, playing with the cognitive associations that have emerged from the subconscious. Appearing multicolored rectangles and circles is the moment that the action ends. A brief moment to remember. The memory and the preceding stage emerge – they lay together on the white canvas.
