Location: Saint Catherine’s Church, Vilnius str. 30
Soundtrack: Max Cooper
Duration: 45 minutes
In 2015, Max Cooper and the design studio Architecture Social Club collaborated in order to create a 3-dimensional audio-visual installation in which music manifests itself through space and light. The installation plays on our intrinsic and emotional relationships with the forms, colors, and sounds around us. “Aether” was created to experiment with connecting light and sound to emotions. The project accentuates human relations with physical form. The viewer is drawn into a rich, sensory experience that cannot be touched. Its mass grows, moves, and disintegrates in response to the surrounding audio, amplifying the sensual impact of the music. “Aether” is about abstract forms presented through images, sounds and the mapping of the senses.
