Floating Universe is a light hearted artwork that leads the spectator into a peaceful world far away from earthy commotion. It’s a universe of beams and sometimes globes that reproduce themselves infinitely and give the spectator the sensation of floating in space in an abstract world. It is a visual, optical experience where it is being played with time and space. A psychedelic maze with imaginary walls. A dark space in which radiating sticks play the part of dancers that perform an endless choreography. The quality of the installation is due to the intensity of the image and the impact it has on the spectator. The design and the optical illusions fully serve the visual experience and are not an end in itself.
