Moments that Stop
The light installation “Moments that Stop“ created for the Vilnius Light Festival is a suspended moment in which light becomes the memory of a feeling. Delicate, glowing lanterns hanging above the courtyard create a warm, slow-moving field of light, while several large, low-hanging lanterns at the center – allow the experience to be felt up closely. Each viewer finds their own meaning here: for one, it may be the release of a memory; for another, the unfolding of a dream or the return of a familiar warmth. This is a space where one can slow down, look up, and for a brief moment sense something that usually passes unnoticed.
