INGO WENDT (DE) – CHRONOTOPE
“Chronotope” is a projection-sculpture that works in a purely analogue way. It has the attributes of a clock-like face and a clockwork, yet it shows open time. Two round projection walls in parallel to each other within a distance of about 3,5m. In between them – a kinetic apparatus is placed. The clock-face is constituted of the central projection with colored filters in a mix of additive and subtractive colors. The clockwork is reflected by one light source in the second screen. The idea of this artwork lies in dreaming about returning to endless childhood days and regaining slow time.
