“Oh Lord” is an audiovisual installation created by Guillaume Marmin in collaboration with the Observatory Paris Meudon and the Institut de Planeotologie et d’Astrophysique de Grenoble. Based on various sun observation databases as shots from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory satellite, this artwork highlights our relationship with the Star in a device that materializes and animates beams of light. At a time of environmental and energy challenges, the sun is more than ever the focus of our fears and hopes.
